Spiritual not religious and a Journalist crosses the line

Canada’s national broadcaster, the CBC, has a great radio program called Tapestry, which explores various issues surrounding faith and belief.

They’ve had a couple of very interesting conversations lately:

  1. Spiritual but not religious . . . and totally self-obssesed || Mary interviews an atheist philosopher who thinks people who are spiritual but not religious become more self-centered and shallow than religious adherents.
  2. Crossing the line || Mary interviews a former reporter who got tired of not being able to help the people he wrote about; even seeing that he was hurting them sometimes. He is now studying to be a minister in the United Church of Canada.

Worth a listen or two. Oh, also, in the last part of #1, there is an interview with the director of the movie Hellbound? that you may find interesting.
